The 9 HDMI outputs make it easy to build different layouts and the full HD output looks crisp on all screens. No extra software to install, just log in from a browser and adjust the layout. If you’re searching for an “HDMI 4K matrix switcher 8 HDMI inputs for home theater,” this one is a solid choice. I’m using it as both an HDMI 4K splitter and a matrix – routing a 4K2K@60Hz signal from my receiver to multiple TVs and a projector. The metal casing feels sturdy, the package weight isn’t crazy for a rack shelf, and the 3.5 mm audio split is handy when I want to feed a separate stereo amp. We drive six screens for an indoor advertising wall and it keeps everything in sync. I like that we can stack multiple layers on top of each other and still keep the image clean. Fan noise is low and the unit is compact enough to hide in our rack.
